Ibb: A citizen was killed and his two daughters were injured by gunmen who attacked their home in the Al-Sahoul area.

A citizen was killed and his two daughters were injured in an armed attack targeting their home in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), amid widespread security chaos in the governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.

Local sources said that gunmen opened fire last night on the home of Haitham Ahmed Atef while he was with his family on the roof of their house in the village of Haddam, in the Al-Hawj Al-Qibli district of the Ibb countryside, north of the governorate center.

The sources added that the incident resulted in the death of the homeowner and the serious injury of his two daughters, who were subsequently transferred to the hospital. The perpetrators then fled the scene.

The Suhol region is witnessing widespread security chaos and the widespread presence of bandit gangs, most of whom are linked to the terrorist Houthi militia. This has led to an increase in criminal activity and acts of robbery and looting of citizens' property.
