Marib: Two soldiers and a civilian killed by sabotage elements targeting a road protection forces site

Two soldiers and a civilian were killed on Friday by sabotage elements who targeted a military site in Al Wadi District, Ma'rib Governorate (eastern Yemen).

The local website "Ma'rib 360" said that two soldiers from the Second Road Protection Brigade were killed, along with a truck driver, by sabotage elements who attacked a brigade site north of Al Wadi District.

He explained that the dead soldiers were on a mission to protect equipment that was building an earthen barrier within the security belt of Al Wadi Directorate to prevent smuggling operations towards areas controlled by the Houthi militia.

He pointed out that the dead soldiers were from the Ubaida tribe, namely (Fahd bin Hamad bin Awshan and Ali Hassan Mohammed Aweer), while the truck driver was called (Naji Hadi Al-Barti).
