Today, Sunday, the Masam Project for Mine Clearance in Yemen announced the removal of 720 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices in several Yemeni governorates.
The project said in a statement issued by its media center that its field teams were able, during the period from October 19 to 25, to remove 720 deadly explosive materials, distributed among 670 unexploded ordnance, 29 anti-personnel mines, and 21 anti-tank mines.
He added that the field teams disinfected 265,915 square metres during the same period.
The project indicated that its field teams have been able, since the beginning of their work in mid-2018, to date, to identify and destroy 467,431 explosive materials in the liberated areas of Yemen.
