Shabwa: Health center employees go on strike in protest against armed men interfering in their work

On Tuesday, employees of a health center in Radhum District, Shabwa Governorate, began a strike in protest against the repeated attacks they are subjected to by gunmen.

A local source told Yemen Youth Net that the employees of Radhum Health Center (governmental) carried out a comprehensive strike on Tuesday in protest against the repeated attacks against them by armed elements.

The source explained that the center's employees confirmed that they would stop working and not return to work until the armed elements were held accountable and the health center and its employees were restored.

The directorates of Shabwa Governorate are witnessing a major security breakdown, in light of the high rate of violations, murders and attacks, coupled with the absence of the role of armed formations and local authorities.
