The Immigration and Passports Authority branch in Taiz Governorate announced today, Monday, the completion of printing all transactions for the month of October 2024, with a total of 32,536 passports.
The branch of the Authority explained in a statement published on Facebook that the number of passports printed so far from November transactions has reached 21,106 passports out of 34,490 transactions, and the printing of the remainder will be completed in the coming days.
The Authority called on citizens to quickly receive their printed passports, as approximately 20,000 passports are still in the delivery department and have not been received yet, which has caused additional pressure on the distribution department employees.
The Authority stressed the necessity of bringing the original documents related to the transactions when coming to receive the passports.
He pointed out that the delay in completing transactions is due to the large turnout and continuous congestion, in addition to waiting for the arrival of the passport books necessary to complete the pending transactions.
The Taiz branch of the Authority confirmed that any new developments will be announced through the Authority’s official page on Facebook.
He also stressed the continuation of providing facilities for urgent cases such as medical cases, job opportunities outside the country, those on study leave, and emergency travel circumstances.
In this regard, he called on those concerned to submit an urgent request to the Director General’s office to obtain their passports urgently.
