Four soldiers from the National Army forces were killed and injured yesterday, Wednesday, when a mine planted by the Houthi militia exploded in Taiz Governorate, southwest of the country.

Media sources reported that a landmine planted by the Houthi militia exploded, killing two soldiers and wounding two others, on the Maqbanah front, west of the governorate.

This incident comes at a time when several Yemeni regions are suffering from the spread of mines planted by the Houthi militia, especially in the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah, where many people have been killed and wounded as a result of these Houthi mines.

Government statistics showed that the number of mines in Yemen amounted to about two million mines, which resulted in the killing and wounding of thousands in recent years.
