Yemen.. Ministry of Endowments announces tomorrow, Saturday, as the first day of the holy month of Ramadan

The Yemeni Ministry of Endowments and Guidance announced today, Friday, that the crescent moon has been sighted and that tomorrow, Saturday, is the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

A statement issued by the ministry stated that the committee assigned by the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance to sight the crescent moon, which is composed of astronomy professors, honorable judges and scholars, confirmed the sighting of the crescent moon of the month of Ramadan tonight.

He added, "Thus, tomorrow, Saturday, corresponding to March 1, 2025 AD, will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Fast upon its sighting and break your fast upon its sighting, and if it is hidden from you, then complete the number of thirty days."

On this great religious occasion, the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance expressed its highest congratulations and blessings to all our noble Yemeni people, at home and abroad, and to the political leadership represented by His Excellency the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
