Today, Monday, the forces of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council kidnapped a tribal sheikh and two of his companions, in front of the Public Prosecution building in the interim capital, Aden, in southern Yemen.

Tribal sources told "Yemeni Youth Net" that elements affiliated with the Director of Dar Saad Police, "Muslih Al-Dharhani", kidnapped Sheikh "Yasser Al-Azibi Al-Subaihi" and two others, from the building of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution in Aden.

The sources explained that Sheikh Al-Azibi went with his brother "Murad" and his cousin "Salem Lasoud" to the criminal prosecution office in Aden, carrying with him judicial papers directing the release of his son "Hamza" who has been kidnapped for more than five months.

The sources explained that Muslih Al-Dharhani's men were on board a military vehicle and kidnapped Sheikh Yasser Al-Azibi, his brother Murad, and their relative Salem, from in front of the Criminal Prosecution building in Aden, and took them to an unknown location.

The Transitional Council forces had kidnapped his son Hamza, an officer in the Yemeni Coast Guard, after he returned from leave from his work in Al-Mokha, west of Taiz, on August 25, 2024, without knowing the reasons.

Despite a judicial order issued by the Public Prosecution to release Hamza, the Transitional Council forces refused to release him, and today proceeded to kidnap his father, his uncle, and one of his relatives, according to the same sources.
