On Friday, the Madhhij and Himyar tribes announced their full readiness to confront the terrorist Houthi militias until the liberation of Yemen and the restoration of the state, calling for a conference to unify the tribes of Yemen to fight the national battle.

This came during a large tribal gathering in Ma'rib Governorate, attended by sheikhs, dignitaries and tribal leaders from several governorates, including Ma'rib, Al Bayda, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Hajjah, Al Mahwit, Raymah and Shabwa.

In the meeting, the tribes confirmed their full readiness to confront the Houthis by all possible means until the liberation of Yemen and the restoration of the state, and their rejection of any political settlement, stressing the necessity of unifying the national and tribal ranks to confront the Iranian Houthi project.

The tribes warned against any internal disputes that might serve the militia and hinder liberation efforts, stressing their adherence to national constants and their categorical rejection of attempts to change the Yemeni identity, noting the role of the Yemeni tribe, which has always been a solid dam in the face of injustice and tyranny.

The participants stressed that the Houthi militias are nothing but an extension of the Imamate regime that was overthrown by the revolution of September 26, 1962, and that standing up to its sectarian project supported by Iran is a national and religious duty that cannot be reversed.

The attendees called for holding a "Yemeni Tribal Conference" with the aim of unifying efforts and ranks to confront terrorist militias, and rejecting any side differences that might affect the unity of tribal, political and military decisions.

They pointed out that the national cause is greater than any partisan or tribal affiliations, and that confronting the Houthis must be a priority for all Yemenis without exception, stressing the need for joint work with all national forces to confront this existential threat.

The participants strongly condemned the forced recruitment operations practiced by the terrorist Houthi militias, their deliberate targeting of children and youth, and forcing them to fight under threat and extortion, denouncing the crimes and serious violations they commit against civilians.

The statement referred to the militia's crimes against citizens, which included bombing homes, kidnapping opponents, imprisoning women, destroying infrastructure, and igniting wars to serve Iran's agenda, stressing that these crimes will not be subject to a statute of limitations, and that all those involved in them must receive their just punishment.

The expanded meeting called on the legitimate government to declare a comprehensive liberation battle and return to the homeland to lead and manage the battle from within, and demanded the provision of all military and logistical capabilities to support the fighting fronts in the face of the Houthis.

The attendees also called on the brothers in the Arab coalition, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to continue supporting efforts to liberate Yemen, and to enhance their military and humanitarian support to ensure the restoration of the state and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The tribes of Madhhij and Himyar pledged to continue their covenant in confronting the Houthi project until the complete liberation of Yemen, stressing the inherent and inalienable right of all displaced and expelled persons to return to their homes, as a firm right guaranteed by divine laws, humanitarian norms, and international covenants, and sponsored by the principles of justice and fairness.

The statement concluded by stressing that victory belongs to Yemen and its free tribes, and that the tribes will remain the rock on which the dreams of the Houthis and their foreign agendas will be shattered, renewing the pledge to the homeland, the martyrs and the wounded that they will continue until victory is achieved and Yemen is restored to its natural position as an independent, sovereign Arab state.
