A number of civilians were injured and a car was burned in two mine explosions left by the terrorist Houthi militia in the governorates of Al-Jawf (northeast) and Al-Hodeidah (west of Yemen).

The Yemeni Mine Observatory said that three civilians were killed by a Houthi landmine explosion while they were driving a civilian vehicle on the desert road in the Al-Yatmah area in the Khab and Al-Sha'af district in Al-Jawf governorate.

For its part, local sources explained that the accident also caused the car to burn completely and turn into a pile of iron.

In Al Hudaydah Governorate (western Yemen), a child named (Musa Muhammad Ali Abdullah - 10 years old) was seriously injured, which resulted in the amputation of parts of both of his feet, and his father - 52 years old - was injured by scattered shrapnel, as a result of the explosion of a mine left by the Houthi militia in the Al Suwaidiyah area in Al Khawkhah District, south of the governorate.

Hodeidah and Al Jawf are among the Yemeni governorates most contaminated with mines planted by the Houthi militia, and their incidents have caused the death and injury of thousands of civilians over the past years.
