Effects of floods that hit Hodeidah
The Yemeni Red Crescent Society said on Thursday that the death toll from heavy rains and floods in a number of governorates in western Yemen in the past few days has risen to 45, in addition to 12 other people missing.
She added on the social media platform "X" that the rains and floods that hit seven governorates caused the displacement of 3,640 people and damaged nearly 12,600 homes.
She pointed out that the affected governorates are Hodeidah, Hajjah, Amran, Saada, Taiz, Dhamar and Sana'a, where many roads were closed due to the floods in these governorates.
