Aden.. The Security Committee issues an explanatory statement regarding the events of the Khor Maksar demonstrations

On Saturday, the security committee in the temporary capital, Aden, issued an explanatory statement regarding the events that accompanied the demonstrations that took place in the Khor Maksar district on Saturday afternoon, blaming what it described as “infiltrating elements” responsible for provoking riots and chaos.
The committee confirmed in a statement that a soldier in the Al-Arish police, Muhammad Saleh Al-Ward, was killed by a gunshot to the chest in the Al-Rehab round, and the citizen, “Muhammad Salem Al-Kazmi,” who died from shortness of breath, in addition to the injury of the citizen, “Khadr Ahmad Khadr,” with a gunshot wound to the left leg.
The committee held what it described as paid and infiltrated elements responsible, noting that these elements “infiltrated the masses of peaceful demonstrators,” confirming its disavowal of responsibility and blaming another party.
The committee affirmed its support for all just humanitarian causes, foremost among which is the case of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal Al-Jaadani, and with the right to peaceful demonstration for any citizen in accordance with legal and official frameworks.
At the same time, it warned "against attempts to exploit these demonstrations to create chaos, target security personnel, and disturb public peace."
She reiterated that the security services will not hesitate to carry out their role and duty in protecting citizens and public and private property, and will deal firmly with any attempts to destabilize security and stability by some infiltrated elements that have tried to ride the wave over the past days.
She pointed out that these elements "intended to incite and mobilize to disrupt security and order, by broadcasting misinformation campaigns, rumors, and fake news - as happened today - as they were monitored by surveillance cameras, and are in the process of prosecuting them legally, and referring them to the competent judicial authorities to receive their deterrent punishment."
The security committee in the capital, Aden, noted to the family of Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ashal, and to all those searching for the truth, that the investigation committee is still continuing to collect inferences and make supplementary reports based on the directives of the Public Prosecution, as well as following up and arresting the accused fleeing from justice based on the memorandums addressed to the International Police (International Police). Interpol, to bring them to justice, to have its say on them, and to reveal the fate of Lieutenant Colonel Ashal.
