The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, affirmed the state's commitment to the return of all its institutions to work from within, and to mobilize energies to confront economic challenges, and to secure basic services for citizens, especially with the approach of the month of Ramadan.

This came during a meeting held by Al-Alimi with the head and members of the Consultation and Reconciliation Commission in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, according to the government's Saba news agency.

According to the agency, Al-Alimi stressed the need to implement the decisions of the Presidential Leadership Council regarding the return of government institutions to carry out their constitutional duties to the fullest extent.

Al-Alimi pointed out the state's responsibility to fulfill its obligations towards citizens and limit the repercussions of the Houthi attacks on oil facilities, which he described as the main reason for the exacerbation of human suffering in the country.

For its part, the Authority’s presidency reviewed before Al-Alimi its activities during the past period, and its future programs to continue implementing its tasks in accordance with the announcement of the transfer of power.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance the role of the Authority in bridging trust between national components, which would contribute to achieving stability and enhancing efforts to restore state institutions.

This comes amid the continued economic deterioration in the country, and the historic collapse of the national currency against foreign currencies, amid the government’s inability to put an end to these treatments.
