Yemeni Minister of Information, Muammar Al-Eryani, stressed that Yemen will not remain a hostage in the hands of the Iranian regime and that the national flag will fly over every inch of Yemeni land.
Al-Eryani said, "The leaders of the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime, have lined up in a long line over the past few days on television screens and social media platforms, in an attempt to prove that Yemen is neither Syria nor Lebanon, and that the scene of the great fall of the Iranian arms will not be repeated, forgetting their black record and their criminal practices against the Yemeni people, and their terrorist activities that have cast their shadows on regional and international security and peace."
Muammar Al-Eryani added, "The clear truth is that Yemen will not remain isolated from regional developments, and will not be a hostage in the hands of Iran, and the national flag will fly over every inch of Yemeni land, no matter how much the Houthis try to terrorize the people with blood and destruction, and no matter how much they mobilize their ideological elements who have been moving for more than ten years as a tool for killing and imposing the extremist, racist Imamate project."
Al-Eryani pointed out that what the Houthis are trying to promote regarding the existence of popular support for their coup project is merely an illusion and a mirage that will disappear before the will of the free Yemeni people.
He stressed that the Yemeni people, who have suffered the ravages of war and destruction as a result of the coup, with all their different sects, will not accept any form of guardianship over them, or for their land to be an Iranian arena for settling regional and international scores, and expanding influence at the expense of their stability and security.
Al-Eryani pointed out that past experiences, including in Syria, have proven that the will of peoples cannot be broken by threats, repression, or iron and fire. The solid national and Arab identity will remain resistant to dismantling. The Yemeni people, with all their components, will unite around their national values to heal their wounds and rebuild their country, which was torn apart by war and coup, away from Iranian guardianship.
Al-Eryani noted that the battle that the Yemenis are waging today is not only on the ground, but it is a battle over identity and national dignity. Yemen will remain in the heart of the Arab region, and no force in the universe will be able to change this reality. The more the Houthis try to impose their agenda, the more the Yemeni people will become steadfast and determined to restore their state and capital, and build a better tomorrow that they deserve.
