He added that what happened today in the Shabwa Court of Appeal, in terms of trying to whitewash the crime of liquidating Sheikh Al-Bani and tampering with the course of the case, is a stain on the integrity and justice of the court and its judge, and a dangerous indicator of dragging the governorate into more violence and conflict.

He also warned of the danger of "enacting a law that allows military killers affiliated with militias to escape any punishment or accountability under the name of (a military court) when they commit any murder," explaining that these militias involved in the crime of liquidating the martyr Al-Bani do not belong to the Ministry of Defense or the Ministry of Interior and do not even recognize them until they are referred to them or accept their ruling.

In this context, activist Majid Omair Al-Harthi wrote on the “X” platform: “The Shabwa judiciary is at stake... The case of the martyr Abdullah Al-Bani is the most famous in the history of the governorate, and it is what will determine your integrity or lack thereof.”

In turn, activist Montaser Al-Shabwani said, "The decision of the head of the Shabwa Court of Appeal to transfer Al-Bani's killers to a military court came under the directives of the governor Awad Al-Wazir and his successor, the UAE," noting that "Al-Bani's lawyer, his father and his family were prevented from entering Ataq and threatened with death, which confirms that his assassination was ordered by an external source."
