The leadership of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform in Hadramaut Valley and Desert, and the Hadramaut Tribal Authority, emphasized the importance of enhancing social stability and reconciliation by intensifying efforts to resolve conflicts and strengthen social cohesion among the governorate's people.

This came during a visit by a delegation from the Islah leadership, headed by the Secretary of the Islah Executive Office in the Valley and Desert, Munir Bamhimoud, to the headquarters of the religious authority. The delegation met with the head of the religious authority, Sheikh Abdullah Saleh Al-Kathiri, and a number of its leaders.

During the meeting, the Islah delegation emphasized the significant role played by the Reconciliation and Reconciliation Committee, headed by Sheikh Yahya Balruwas, in resolving societal disputes and instilling the values of coexistence and cooperation among the people of Hadhramaut.

The delegation emphasized that these efforts represent a guarantee to preserve the social fabric of Hadhramaut, given the difficult circumstances facing Yemen.

The meeting also discussed the current economic and living conditions, with both sides stressing the need for urgent action by central and local authorities to alleviate the economic crisis and provide practical solutions that enable Hadhramaut residents to benefit from their resources and manage them in a manner that achieves sustainable development.

On the political front, the Islah Party and the Hadramaut Authority stressed the need for a unified stance to restore the state and end the Houthi militia coup, which has exacerbated the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The two sides stressed the importance of political and societal forces uniting to address current challenges and work together to improve living conditions and meet the aspirations of the people of Hadhramaut for security, stability, and development.
