The fourth paper was titled “February and the Challenges of Identity,” presented by journalist Ahmed Shawqi, in which he pointed out the ambiguity of the revolution’s political identity, as it raised the slogan of a civil republican state, while some of the forces involved in it adopted projects that contradicted this goal.
He also stressed that the February Revolution was not responsible for the Houthis entering Sana'a, wondering why the security authorities at that time allowed them to advance from Saada to the capital.
The symposium concluded with an open discussion, which allowed attendees to exchange ideas on strengthening the principles of the revolution and achieving its goals. The symposium was attended by dozens of politicians, activists, media professionals and channel correspondents.
