Shabwa.. Giants Forces announce downing a Houthi militia drone

The Giants Brigades, affiliated with the government forces, announced on Sunday that they had shot down a drone belonging to the terrorist Houthi militia west of Shabwa Governorate, southeast of Yemen.

The Giants Forces Media Center said that its air defenses were able to shoot down the Houthi drone after it was spotted in the sky of Bayhan District, Shabwa Governorate.

He confirmed that the Houthi drone was shot down before reaching its target, noting that the Giants' defenses continue to monitor and shoot down Iranian Houthi drones in the areas of their military operations.

Yesterday, Saturday, the Yemeni Armed Forces announced the thwarting of a number of hostile attempts by the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime, on several combat fronts in the Ma'rib and Al-Jawf governorates in the northeast of the country.

Military sources said that the armed forces succeeded in damaging and destroying heavy machinery and equipment belonging to the militias in several sectors on the fronts of the Ma'rib and Al-Jawf governorates, which the militias were using to create fortifications and pave new roads in the front areas.

The terrorist Houthi militias, supported by the Iranian regime, have, over the past weeks, sent transport equipment and excavators to the contact areas and are creating trenches and building earthen barriers, in addition to planting mines in many areas, according to the sources.
