Taiz: Army forces thwart 18 attacks and infiltration attempts by Houthi militia during January

The National Army forces said on Tuesday that they had thwarted 18 attacks and infiltration attempts by the terrorist Houthi militia into their positions on the fronts of Taiz Governorate, southwest of the country, during the month of January.

The Taiz Axis Media Center stated that the operations to repel the Houthi attempts during the month of January resulted in the death of four militia members and the injury of six others, in addition to the downing of a drone on the Al-Dhubab front west of the city and the damage of a 12/7 caliber machine gun on the eastern front of the city.

According to the center, the Houthi militia, as part of its hostile actions, has created new fortifications in 20 locations on the battle fronts.

This comes in light of the escalation carried out by the Houthi militia on a number of fronts, specifically in the governorates of Taiz and Marib.
