Tens of thousands of Yemenis demonstrated in the governorates of Taiz and Ma'rib, today, Friday, in support of the Palestinian cause and in condemnation of the crimes of genocide, displacement and the ongoing Zionist siege on the Gaza Strip.

Tens of thousands of Yemenis gathered in the lower Tahrir Street in the center of Taiz city in response to the call of the political components in the governorate, and thousands also gathered in the center of Marib city.

The demonstrators chanted slogans in support of the Palestinian resistance and denouncing the betrayal, including: “The path of liberation and retribution, with explosive devices and snipers,” and “The betrayal of the Arabs is blatant, killing the spirit of our nation.”

The participants raised the Palestinian flag and a unified phrase that read: “Arab betrayal is a valuable service to Zionism.”

The protesters denounced the continued barbaric war committed by the Zionist occupation against women, children and civilians in the Gaza Strip, denouncing the absence of any international efforts to stop it.

They also expressed their deep regret for the continued Arab abandonment of the residents of the Gaza Strip, stressing that abandoning the Palestinians is a valuable service to the Zionist enemy and an indirect participation in the shedding of their blood.

The protesters also denounced the international position, especially the American position, which is complicit in the crimes of siege, displacement and genocide committed by the Israeli occupation army in the Gaza Strip.

The demonstrators called for the immediate opening of the Gaza crossings to facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians suffering from the siege, stressing their firm position in supporting the rights of the Palestinian people, emphasizing the need to end the ongoing Israeli violations, and to stop the genocide committed by the occupation with great Western support.

The demonstrators called on the International Criminal Court to prosecute Israeli war criminals and achieve justice for the Palestinians.

With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving more than 149,000 Palestinians dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.

Israel continues its massacres, ignoring two arrest warrants issued by the International Criminal Court on November 21 against its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity against the Palestinians.
