The army announces targeting hostile sites and movements on the Marib fronts and foiling an infiltration attempt in Taiz

The Yemeni army announced today, Saturday, that it targeted hostile sites and movements carried out by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia on several fronts in Ma'rib Governorate, while it thwarted an infiltration attempt and extinguished sources of fire on the Taiz axis.

A military source told the Armed Forces Media Center that the army forces targeted heavy equipment belonging to the Houthi militia while it was creating fortifications and paving new roads in the Al-Kasara sector, west of Marib.

The army forces also dealt with sources of hostile fire in the Al-Mashjah sector, and succeeded in extinguishing them, according to the source.

On the southern front in Marib, army forces targeted several Houthi militia sites in response to their targeting of a military site with an explosive drone, which led to the martyrdom of one of the heroes of the armed forces and the injury of others.

In the Taiz axis, the media center said that the army forces thwarted an infiltration attempt by Houthi elements on the Al-Ahtoub front, and forced the infiltrating elements to flee after killing and wounding a number of them.

He also reported that the army forces extinguished sources of hostile fire on the Maqbanah front, west of Taiz, which included artillery positions that the terrorist Houthi militia was using to attack army positions.
