A citizen was killed and three others were injured in a weapons tampering incident in Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia (central Yemen).

Local sources said that a citizen was killed and three others were injured yesterday evening in an incident involving tampering with a "Kanda" weapon in the "Souq Al-Ahad" area in the Al-Sabrah district, southeast of Ibb governorate.

The sources indicated that the dead citizen was from the "Al-Sumaie" family and was transferred to the morgue of one of the hospitals in Ibb city, while the injured are receiving treatment.

As a result of the security chaos and the spread of weapons, the governorate has witnessed many similar incidents in recent years that have claimed the lives of dozens.
