A citizen committed suicide in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), amid increasing suicide incidents in the governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.
Local sources said that a citizen named (B. H. T.) hanged himself to death yesterday, Monday, in the Balad Al-Hudhaifi area in the Al-Udayn District, west of Ibb.
The sources added that the victim was married and had five children.
The sources indicated that the victim was suffering from a psychological condition due to the living conditions.
Ibb Governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, is witnessing a frightening increase in suicide crimes, in light of the difficult living and economic conditions experienced by citizens as a result of the war that the militia has ignited for ten years, causing the worst humanitarian disaster in the world.
