Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi Bawazir, inspected the conditions of the Yemeni community in Lebanon, coinciding with the Israeli aggression on the country.
Al-Alimi made a phone call to the Yemeni Ambassador to Lebanon, Abdullah Al-Dais, to check on the Yemeni diplomatic staff, as well as members of the community, and Yemeni students studying in Lebanese institutes and universities, according to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba).
Al-Alimi listened to a detailed explanation from Ambassador Al-Dais about the security developments in Lebanon and the conditions of the community members and students present in a number of Lebanese cities. He pointed out that everyone is receiving care and attention, and that the embassy is constantly following up on their conditions.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Alimi stressed the necessity for the embassy and its diplomatic and administrative staff to give the community members and students in Lebanon all the attention and care, follow up on their conditions, provide them with assistance, and take all necessary measures that serve their interests and address their conditions.
Yesterday morning, Monday, Israel began launching extensive raids on areas in eastern and southern Lebanon, and continued until dawn today, leading to the killing of 492 people, including 30 children and 58 women, and the injury of 1,645 others, according to the latest statistics issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
