The Yemeni army announces the thwarting of infiltration attempts by the terrorist Houthi militias in 3 governorates

The Yemeni army announced, on Friday, that it had thwarted attempts by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militia to infiltrate the governorates of Marib, Al-Jawf (northeast), and Taiz (southwest).

The Armed Forces Media Center said that the army forces were able, on Friday, to repel the attacks of the terrorist Houthi militia on a number of battlefronts in Ma'rib Governorate.

He explained that the army forces dealt effectively with the Houthi militia attacks on a number of military sites on the battle fronts northwest of Marib, where the militias used artillery, snipers and drones.

He stressed that the army forces forced the militias to retreat and flee under the blows of the army forces, which dealt with the attacks with firmness and force.

He reported that the army forces were able to damage the Houthi militia's artillery, which was used to shell military sites on the southern Marib fronts.

In Al-Jawf Governorate, the army forces were able to thwart an infiltration attempt by the terrorist Houthi militia on the Al-Jadafer front.

The media center said that these groups were dealt with and forced to flee, which resulted in injuries among them.

He stated that the army forces responded to the militia attacks and dealt with the sources of fire firmly, which resulted in the injury of one of the army heroes.

The army forces also thwarted an infiltration attempt by the terrorist Houthi militias on the northeastern front of the city of Taiz, forcing those groups to flee and causing casualties among them.

The media center pointed out the continued attacks of the militia on the army forces' positions on various fronts of the governorate, using artillery and mortar shells.

He confirmed that the army forces monitored the continued mobilization of Houthi militias to the contact areas in Taiz.
