He explained that Israeli aircraft are forced to refuel in the air due to the long distance, which limits their ability to target complex military sites.

The military expert considered that the current operations aim to deplete the capabilities of the Houthis by targeting the infrastructure and vital military installations, pointing out that the strikes on Sanaa airport and oil facilities represent part of the strategy to encircle and isolate the Houthis by sea and air.

Partial success

Hanna added that the recent attacks focused on drones, while no long-range missiles were launched from Yemen, which may indicate partial success in undermining the Houthis’ logistical capabilities.

Hanna concluded by saying that the next stage will reveal whether these strikes will lead to escalatory reactions from the Houthis or a decline in their offensive capabilities.
