Foreign Minister Dr. Shaye Al-Zindani discussed the Houthi militia's violations against the Yemeni people and its ongoing attacks on international shipping vessels in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, while the United States of America confirmed that the international community's patience has run out with regard to the Houthi practices.
The Yemeni Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday that Minister Al-Zindani met on the sidelines of the 20th session of the Regional Security Forum (Manama Dialogue) with the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, and discussed with him developments in the national arena.
Minister Al-Zindani called on the international community to exert pressure on the terrorist Houthi militias supported by the Iranian regime, and the actions and violations committed by this militia against the Yemeni people, and the continued escalation in the Red Sea, which represents a threat to freedom of maritime navigation, international trade, and security and peace in the region.
He stressed the Yemeni government's keenness to deal with all regional and international efforts made to end the war and achieve peace in Yemen.
In another meeting, Minister Al-Zindani met on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue Forum with the US Special Envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, who began a visit to the region on Thursday that includes (Bahrain, Qatar, Djibouti) and will continue until the 12th of this month.
During the meeting, the latest political, security and economic developments on the national scene, and the violations of the terrorist Houthi militia supported by the Iranian regime, against the Yemeni people, were discussed.

Minister Al-Zindani stressed the keenness of the Presidential Leadership Council to achieve peace and end the war, pointing out the terrorist Houthi militia's evasion of implementing its obligations and its threat to the security of maritime navigation and international trade in the Red Sea and Bab al -Mandab .
For his part, the US envoy stressed his country's keenness to support efforts made to end the war and achieve peace in Yemen.
International patience is running out
The United States announced that its special envoy to Yemen, Tim Lenderking, began a visit to the region, including Bahrain, Doha in Qatar, and the capital of Djibouti in the country of Djibouti, from December 5 to 12.
The US State Department said in a statement that Lenderking will meet with partners in his stations "to coordinate efforts to confront the reckless attacks launched by the Houthis on cargo ships in the Red Sea, as international patience has run out with the continued provocations by this armed group."
She added that the Special Envoy will also hold talks during his visit with officials and representatives of civil society to discuss the urgent need to facilitate access of humanitarian goods and services to all civilians and the practical measures necessary to create favorable conditions for political dialogue between the Yemeni parties.
The statement explained that the Special Envoy is scheduled to hold "discussions on our grave concern over the continued detention of innocent sailors and innocent Yemenis working for international organizations and diplomatic missions by the Houthis, and will also address the impact of the Houthi detentions and interference in the vital delivery of humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people."
He noted that Lenderking will meet with government officials and counterparts, UN staff and international humanitarian workers, multilateral organizations, US military service members, and members of the Yemeni community abroad.
The US State Department indicated at the end of its statement that Special Envoy Lenderking will attend the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain and participate in the Doha Forum in Qatar, as well as hold meetings with partners and officials from the United Nations Verification and Inspection Mechanism for Yemen in Djibouti.
