Houthi militia-affiliated media outlets said that new American and British bombing targeted areas under their control overlooking the Red Sea coast in western Yemen, after a hiatus of about half a month.
Al-Masirah TV, affiliated with the Houthis, reported early this morning that an airstrike by the American-British aircraft targeted the Buhais area in the Midi district of Hajjah Governorate, northwest of Yemen.
Earlier yesterday evening, the channel reported that an airstrike targeted At Tuhayat District in Al Hudaydah Governorate, in the west of the country.
The channel did not provide further details about the targeted sites and the results of the bombing, while there was no immediate comment from Washington and London in this regard.
The bombing comes after the cessation of US raids in Yemen since late November.
Since the beginning of 2024, a US-led coalition has been launching raids that it says target Houthi sites in various parts of Yemen, in response to its naval attacks, which the group says come within the framework of its support for Gaza, which has been subjected to an Israeli war of extermination since October 2023.
