Today, Wednesday, the Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, Dr. Abdul Rabbo Miftah, opened the Khadija bint Khuwailid Educational Complex in the Al-Hadd area in the Wadi Marib Directorate.

The complex includes a primary and secondary school, a mosque and a residential annex, funded by the Kuwaiti Insan Charitable Society and implemented by the Kafel Foundation.

The school has a capacity of 360 students, and includes a two-storey building containing 9 classrooms, a school administration, a storeroom, and a teachers’ lounge.

Undersecretary Miftah stressed the importance of the project, which enables children in the Al-Hadd area and the surrounding areas, including the displaced and the host community, to attend classes, especially girls.

He pointed to the joy on the faces of the female students present as they looked forward to building a promising future for themselves, appreciating the generous Kuwaiti support for the Yemeni people in these exceptional circumstances.

Moftah stressed the importance of organizations and humanitarian partners focusing on sustainable projects that help recover from the war and drive the wheel of development, including educational and rehabilitation projects that enable the creation of a generation capable of leading the country’s development drive and serving the community.

He also appreciated the humanitarian interventions of the Kuwaiti Insan Association, which is concerned with building the human being and improving his living conditions, as the human being is the goal and purpose of development.
