Liverpool were knocked out of the FA Cup by a small team, while Aston Villa qualified for the last 16 for the first time in 10 years.
Struggling second-tier side Plymouth upset Premier League leaders Liverpool 1-0 in the fourth round at Home Park on Sunday.
Plymouth have pulled off the biggest FA Cup upset so far by beating the favourites to win this season's Premier League title.
The home side took the lead in the 53rd minute after being awarded a penalty for a handball by attacking midfielder Harvey Elliott.
Ryan Hardy stepped up to take the penalty kick, successfully beating Liverpool goalkeeper Kevin Kelleher.

Liverpool were not playing at their usual pace and had just one shot on target in the first half, with Plymouth goalkeeper Conor Hazard saving James McConnell's long-range effort in the 36th minute.
Meanwhile, there was no surprise in the other FA Cup fourth-round tie, with Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers beating Championship side Blackburn Rovers 2-0 at Ewood Park.
Aston Villa Qualify
Aston Villa's Jacob Ramsey scored in the first minute and Morgan Rogers added a second-half goal as Aston Villa advanced to the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time in 10 years with a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park.
Aston Villa needed just 58 seconds to score the first goal, when Rogers ran forward with the ball unopposed before crossing to Ramsey.
The 23-year-old player fired a direct shot towards goalkeeper Antonin Kinski, and the ball passed through his hands and entered the net.
Rogers doubled the home side's lead in the 64th minute when Pedro Porro failed to clear Leon Bailey's cross and Rogers tapped home from close range for his 11th goal of the season in all competitions for Unai Emery's side.
Marcus Rashford, on loan from Manchester United, who had not played since December 12, made his debut two minutes after the second goal.
Tottenham's new signing from Bayern Munich, Mathis Tel, pulled one back in the 91st minute, scoring his first goal for the club when he turned in Dejan Kulusevski's cross, but despite the pressure in the closing stages the home side held on to claim the win.
Of course it's Morgan Rogers for @AVFCOfficial 🥶

With Tottenham's loss, the Europa League becomes their only hope of winning a title this season, after they were eliminated from the League Cup by Liverpool, who won 4-0 in the second leg of the semi-final last Thursday, qualifying 4-1 on aggregate to the final to face Newcastle United.
Tottenham, who are 14th in the Premier League, six places and 10 points behind Aston Villa, wasted a number of chances in a poor performance by Ange Postecoglou's side.
Son Heung-min wasted a great chance in the first half, when he took advantage of Mickey Moore's cross but shot straight at goalkeeper Emi Martinez from close range.
Tottenham were more lively in the second half, with defender Kevin Danso having a great chance late in the game but he fired a low cross from Boro wide.
Aston Villa's last appearance in the fifth round was in the 2014-15 season when they reached the final before losing 4-0 to Arsenal.
