The national team's match against its Saudi counterpart
The national youth football team lost to its Saudi counterpart by three goals to one, in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, at the Polo Stadium in the Jordanian capital, Amman, within the second group of the West Asian Championship Cup.
The first half of the match ended with the Saudi team leading by two clean goals scored in the 12th and 40th minutes.
In the second half, the Saudi team strengthened its lead with a third goal in the 73rd minute, despite the dominance of the national team, which was able to reduce the difference in the 80th minute by scoring the first goal through player Karim Emad.
The Saudi team qualified for the second round on goal difference over the national team after they tied on points.
