Tottenham crush Manchester City 4-0, Arsenal return to winning ways

Tottenham Hotspur swept host Manchester City 4-0, while Arsenal returned to winning ways at Nottingham Forest 3-0, on Saturday evening, in the twelfth round of the English Premier League.

At the Etihad Stadium, Tottenham Hotspur achieved a resounding victory over host Manchester City, with four clean goals.

The Spurs' goals were scored by James Maddison (13 and 20), Pedro Porro (52) and Brennan Johnson (90+3).

This is Tottenham's sixth win in the Premier League this season, against one draw and five defeats.

Thus, the Spurs team raised its score to 19 points in sixth place.

In contrast, Manchester City suffered its third loss this season in the Premier League, compared to seven wins and two draws.

The Citizens' balance froze at 23 points in second place, five points behind leaders Liverpool, who will visit Southampton on Sunday.

Arsenal back to winning ways

In another match, Arsenal regained their winning streak in the English Premier League by defeating their guest, Nottingham Forest, 3-0.

Bukayo Saka (15), Thomas Partey (52) and Ethan Nwaneri (86) scored for the Gunners.

This is the Gunners' sixth win in the Premier League this season, compared to four draws and two losses.

Thus, Arsenal raised its score to 22 points in fourth place, on goal difference behind third-placed Chelsea.

Nottingham Forest, who have been shining this season, suffered their third loss, compared to five wins and four draws, to freeze their points at 19 in sixth place.

In the rest of the matches of the twelfth round, Brighton defeated Bournemouth (2-1) and Wolverhampton defeated Fulham (4-1), while the draw prevailed in the matches of Aston Villa with Crystal Palace (2-2) and Everton with Brentford (0-0).
