Our national team continues its training in preparation for facing Iraq in its first match in the 26th Gulf Cup
The Yemeni national team will meet Iraq in the first round of Group Two of the Gulf Cup "Gulf 26" football tournament, which will be hosted by Kuwait from December 21, 2024, until January 3, 2025.
The Iraqi national team hopes to retain the title of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Championship, after winning the previous edition that was held in its country in 2023.
The Iraqi team enters the current edition as the title holder and is in the second group, which includes the teams of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
On the other hand, the Yemeni team aspires to present an honorable performance and achieve its first victory in the history of its participation in the competition.

The match will be held at Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah Stadium on Sunday, December 22, and will start at 5:25 pm (17:25) Mecca and Doha time, and 18:25 UAE time.
