In an important public health warning, American heart surgeon Dr. Jeremy London revealed a list of dangerous daily habits that may lead to fatal diseases such as cancer and heart attacks, urging everyone to avoid them.
London explained, in a video clip he posted on TikTok, that smoking is at the top of these habits, describing it as “the worst thing a person can do to their body.” He stressed that smoking is not only harmful to the lungs, but also increases the risk of lung cancer, cardiovascular disease, and stroke.
In second place, the American surgeon warned against alcohol, considering it “toxic to every cell in the body.” He revealed that his decision to eliminate alcohol from his life was one of the most influential decisions on his health.
The third habit is soft drinks, which he advised replacing with water or green tea. Finally, he stressed the danger of eating bread and pasta made from refined flour.
London pointed out that 80% of weight control depends on diet, compared to only 20% on exercise, stressing that “exercise is beneficial, but the most important thing is to pay attention to what we eat.”
