The regional silence that accompanies the tremendous developments that the region is experiencing has left a comfortable space for Iran to move tactically to save its project, which has suffered huge setbacks in its most important links: Hezbollah, the Syrian regime led by Assad, not to mention the pressures that its militias in Iraq are subjected to from the state, which has returned, as it seems, with a national lever after years of collapse.

The Houthi group belongs to the Iranian axis, which is essentially sectarian, and therefore sees the loss of any geographical or strategic spot from this axis as a comprehensive setback. This pushes all parties of the axis to "collapse" with "vigilance and fever" to confront the losses. The Houthis' situation makes them the first to collapse.

I read an article by the Egyptian journalist and writer Wael Qandil in Al-Araby Al-Jadeed titled “Arabs after Sinwar and Nasrallah.” From the first line, he puts Sinwar and Haniyeh, “the leaders of the Palestinian cause,” on the same level of status as Hassan Nasrallah, “the leader of transnational sectarianism” and one of the main reasons that led to the collapse and destruction of the Arab Spring in more than one country, including Yemen through the counter-revolution represented by the Houthi coup in September 2014, or Syria through enabling the Assad regime to brutalize the revolution since 2011.

For half a century, presidencies and leaderships were made on the Beirut-Damascus road, and the Damascene factory produced ministers, deputies and generals. The prestige of the presidential palace, the Serail and the parliament in Lebanon was eroded, and the Syrian officer residing in Anjar took control of the lost republic and the relations between the components. Walid Jumblatt's story is different. The family's leadership is four centuries old and it is difficult for it not to be stubborn.

The Association of Families of Martyrs and Wounded in Taiz held a large festival entitled “Syria was liberated today, and Yemen will be liberated tomorrow.” This is an appropriate and interesting sign for those who seize opportunities and respond to popular challenges.
