The Yemeni government called on local and regional investors today, Tuesday, to take advantage of the opportunities available in the pharmaceutical industry sector, stressing its commitment to providing a stimulating environment to enhance investment and achieve self-sufficiency.

Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal, stressed Yemen's aspiration to benefit from the distinguished Egyptian experience in the fields of trade, industry and investment.

A meeting in Lahj Governorate on Tuesday approved the formation of a committee consisting of the governorate’s competent government offices to follow up and evaluate the level of achievement in modern industrial projects, and address their obstacles, in order to start operating them.
