Abu al-Rab addressed the prevention of journalists in the city of Jenin and the outskirts of the camp from covering the events, noting that the occupation prevents the exposure of its crimes by preventing journalists from doing their work.
The occupation continues its aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the third consecutive day, leaving, so far, 12 martyrs after the martyrdom of two young men in the town of Burqin, west of the city, and massive destruction to the infrastructure.
This morning, Thursday, the martyrdom of the two young men, Qutaiba Shalabi (30 years old) and Muhammad Nazzal (25 years old), from the town of Qabatiya, was announced after a siege on the house they were in in the town of Burqin, west of Jenin.
Details of the aggression
For his part, the Israeli occupation army spoke today, Thursday, about the details of the military aggression it has been carrying out since last Tuesday in the Jenin camp.
"Operation Iron Wall in the Jenin camp is one of the most advanced operations in the history of its activities in the area," Israeli army spokeswoman Ella Wawi said in a statement.
She pointed out that "the security forces have been preparing for intensive work for a month to achieve the objectives of this strategic mission."
"Several army units are participating in the aggression, including elite units such as Egoz, the Harbov Company, the 90th Battalion, the Duvdevan Unit, in addition to the Yamam Unit, and two Border Guard Battalions," according to the same source.
The spokeswoman claimed that "the forces are combing the camp carefully, searching buildings one by one in search of militants and weapons. So far, 13 militants have been eliminated, including two who were part of the cell that carried out the attack in the village of Funduq."
She claimed that "the operation focuses on besieging the militants within a specific area, which prompts them to make mistakes that reveal their locations."
