This is the first time that the Palestinian resistance has handed over the bodies of Israeli prisoners, within the framework of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that went into effect on January 19, with the mediation of Qatar, Egypt and the United States.

The agreement consists of 3 stages, each lasting 42 days, during which negotiations will begin to start a second stage, then a third, leading to the end of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, which has left more than 160,000 martyrs and wounded - most of them children and women - and more than 14,000 missing since October 7, 2023.
