Three buses explode with explosive devices in Tel Aviv, and the occupation is mobilized to search for the perpetrator

Israeli police announced that an explosion and fire broke out in three buses inside a bus stop in Bat Yam, Tel Aviv, and that they have begun investigating the incident. They said, "They suspect that the bus bombing in (the settlement of) Bat Yam had a nationalistic background."

According to settler platforms, an unexploded explosive device was found after two buses exploded in the Bat Yam settlement.

Israeli media confirmed that the police are conducting searches and combing operations for suspects in placing explosive devices on the buses.

Meanwhile, the Hebrew Channel 24 i quoted the mayor of Bat Yam as saying that 3 bombs were placed on buses throughout the city.

For its part, the Jerusalem Post newspaper quoted the Israeli police as saying that "the attack appears to be terrorist, as 3 explosive devices were found in 3 empty buses."

Channel 14 Israel confirmed that surveillance cameras showed a suspect in planting explosive devices in Bat Yam while he was fleeing the site.

Following the explosions, light rail traffic in the Bat Yam area was completely halted.

In this context, the Walla website published a photo of an explosive device found in southern Tel Aviv, with the words “Revenge for Tulkarm” written on it.

The website confirmed, quoting sources, that the explosive devices found south of Tel Aviv were planned to explode simultaneously on Friday morning.

In turn, Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said that the first explosion occurred in a parking lot near the stadium in Bat Yam, while the second explosion occurred in a parking lot 400 meters away from the site.

The newspaper added that the third explosion occurred in a parking lot 4 kilometers away from the previous two sites.

As for the Israeli Army Radio, it says that the Shin Bet and the police are pursuing the suspects in planting the explosive devices, and the pursuit is still ongoing. It confirmed that it is not yet known whether the devices are locally made or have military specifications.

She also says that the current security assessment indicates that the attempted bombing originated in the West Bank.

For its part, Israeli Channel 12 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold emergency security consultations tomorrow, following the discovery of explosive devices south of Tel Aviv.

For its part, the newspaper "Israel Today" said that Netanyahu will hold emergency security consultations within hours, following the discovery of explosive devices.

The Israeli Prime Minister's Office said that Netanyahu is receiving ongoing information about the explosive device incident and will soon conduct a security assessment.
