The Hamas movement said in a statement: “We invite you to perform absentee prayers for the soul of the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, tomorrow after Friday prayers, in all mosques, in fulfillment of his message and the blood of the martyrs.”
She added: "Let the marches of anger begin from every mosque, denouncing the cowardly crime of assassination, and condemning the continuation of the war of genocide against our people in the Gaza Strip, and in defense of our land, our sanctity, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque."
On Wednesday morning, Hamas and Iran announced the assassination of Haniyeh in an Israeli air strike that targeted his residence in Tehran, the day after his participation in the inauguration ceremony of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
