A citizen was shot dead by unknown assailants in a town in Ibb Governorate (central Yemen), amid widespread security chaos in the governorate, which is under the control of the Houthi militia.
Local sources said that a citizen named Jamal Abdo Omar Al-Munaie was killed in the village of Souq Al-Ahad in the Ibb countryside directorate by unknown persons.
The sources added that Al-Munaie was killed "treacherously," while the identity of the perpetrators was not immediately revealed.
Ibb Governorate is experiencing widespread security chaos and a marked increase in local conflicts, which has exacerbated criminal activity and murders in recent months and years.
