A soldier from the Shabwa Defense Forces was killed by his colleague in Al-Saeed District

A soldier from the Shabwa Defense Forces was killed today, Tuesday, by his colleague's gunfire at a site in the As-Sa'id Directorate in Shabwa Governorate, southeast of Yemen.

Local sources said that the soldier in the Shabwa Defense Forces, "Hussein Salem Al-Shalwani", was shot this morning by a colleague of his named "Ibn Ali Al-Sulaymani", at one of the sites in the Masina'ah area, affiliated with the Al-Sa'id Directorate.

The sources added that Al-Shalwani, a member of the First Shabwa Defense Brigade, was seriously injured as a result of three bullets penetrating his body. He was subsequently transferred to a hospital for treatment, but he passed away this evening.

The sources did not mention the reasons for the incident, while the Shabwa Defense Forces did not comment on the incident until the time of writing the news.
