A verbal altercation leads to the death of a young man who was stabbed with a knife in Abyan, and the perpetrator was arrested

An 18-year-old man was killed on Saturday by a 20-year-old man in Abyan Governorate, following a verbal altercation that developed into a tragic stabbing incident.

The Ministry of Interior's security media website said that the accused, named (A, B, A), stabbed the victim (A, N, A, L) once with a knife in the chest, which led to his immediate death.

The security services were able to arrest the accused and place him in custody pending investigation. It was noted that the victim's body was handed over to his family after completing the necessary legal procedures.

In a related context, the security services of Taiz Police arrested two wanted persons for theft cases, after a precise investigation and monitoring process.

The Director of the 26th of September Police Department, Major Muhammad Alawi, explained that the department received a number of reports from a number of stall owners on Upper Tahrir Street about the theft of their stalls.

He pointed out that immediately after receiving the reports, the department began procedures to collect information, investigate and search for those wanted in the case, and they were identified and their identities were revealed after the case had been unknown.

He confirmed that they were arrested and placed in custody to complete the legal procedures and refer them to the competent authority.
