Fires escalate as gas station catches fire in Al Zaher district, Al Bayda governorate, central Yemen
Dozens of people were killed and injured on Saturday in a gas filling station explosion in Al Bayda Governorate, central Yemen.
Local sources said that a gas station in the Al-Nasifa area in Al-Zaher District in Al-Bayda exploded, killing and injuring more than 70 people.
According to the sources, the explosion occurred during a shooting by a Houthi military point at a car, which led to the station being hit by gunfire and exploding.
Today, Saturday, a gas station exploded in the Al-Nasifah area in the Al-Zaher district, affiliated with Al-Bayda governorate, resulting in the death and injury of more than 70 people.

Activists on social media circulated photos and videos of flames rising from the station after its explosion.
This comes at a time when the city of Rada'a in Al Bayda is witnessing violent confrontations between the Houthi militia and the tribesmen for the third consecutive day.
