Hadramout.. Civil Defense extinguishes fire that engulfed a building materials store in Tarim

The firefighting teams of the Civil Defense in Wadi and Hadhramaut Desert (eastern Yemen) extinguished a fire that engulfed a building materials store in Tarim District.

The security media of the Ministry of Interior said that a fire broke out (Friday) inside a building materials and paint shop in the Al-Muhaidhara area in the Tarim Directorate in Hadhramaut Valley.

He added that the fire broke out in the shop while it was closed during prayer, and that the Civil Defense firefighting teams were able to extinguish it.

He stated that the security services opened an investigation into the incident to uncover its circumstances and sent a technical committee to inspect the place and closely examine the causes of the incident.

He pointed out that the fire consumed the entire store and that the resulting material losses amounted, according to initial estimates, to one hundred million riyals.
