Lahj: Yemen Youth Net - Special
Today, Thursday, the city of Al-Hawtah in Lahj Governorate witnessed angry protests for the second day in a row, denouncing the continued power outage.
Local sources told "Yemeni Youth Net" that angry citizens closed the main road and burned damaged car tires in the Sabr area of Tuban District, in protest against the continued power outage.
The sources confirmed that closing the road and setting fires caused traffic obstruction, noting that the protesters demanded the immediate restoration of electricity, which has been cut off from large areas of the governorate for 11 days.
On Wednesday, protesters blocked main streets and burned damaged car tires in the city of Al-Hawtah, to express their anger over power outages and deteriorating service conditions.
The southern governorates are witnessing worsening service crises, with increasing popular calls to improve services and find final solutions to them.
