Today, Friday, tribal gunmen seized fuel trucks in Radhum District, Shabwa Governorate, to demand that their tribe be rehabilitated by security forces affiliated with the UAE, which had attacked a citizen’s home last Wednesday.

Tribal sources told "Yemeni Youth Net" that gunmen from the Al-Qash'uri tribe today detained a number of crude oil trailers in the sector they installed on the main road in Radhum District, in protest against the storming of the home of citizen "Haider Ladhil Al-Qash'uri."

The sources explained that the tribes are demanding that the forces affiliated with the UAE, which are based in the Balhaf facility, restore the tribe’s reputation and refer the soldiers who raided the citizen’s house to the judiciary.

Last Wednesday, soldiers from the UAE camp in Balhaf facility stormed the home of citizen “Al-Qash’ouri” in the village of Basfaq in Radhum District, ransacked its contents, terrorized women and children, and kidnapped two of his sons and took them to Balhaf prison.

According to the sources, this matter prompted the tribe’s militants to set up a roadblock on the main road near the Balhaf facility, and the two people were released yesterday, Thursday, justifying this by saying that it was by mistake. However, the tribes refused to remove the roadblock and are demanding that the tribe’s reputation be restored and that the intruders be referred to the judiciary.
