Six from one family.. Death and injury of 15 people in a traffic accident in "Dhamar"

Today, Saturday, 15 people were killed and injured in a horrific traffic accident that occurred on one of the main roads in Dhamar Governorate, south of the capital, Sana'a.

Local sources said that a horrific traffic accident occurred this morning in Qaa Al-Daylami, east of Dhamar city, which led to the death of 10 people, including six from one family, and the injury of six others.

According to sources, the accident occurred between two vehicles, one of which was a Hilux and the other a Nova Taxi, which led to the death of 6 people from one family who were on board the Hilux, and were on their way to Ma'rib Governorate to obtain passports.

The sources confirmed that the condition of the injured is very critical, and they are currently receiving medical care in a hospital in Dhamar city.

This comes at a time when traffic accident rates and the resulting human and material losses have increased.

According to the security media, traffic accidents claimed the lives of 21 people in the first half of November in a number of governorates under the control of the legitimate government.

Experts attribute the reason to excessive speed, the spread of potholes on main roads, and their lack of maintenance.
