Early this morning, the joint forces thwarted a violent attack by the Houthi militia on the Batar front, west of Al-Dhale’e, southern Yemen.

Military sources said that the Houthi militia launched a violent attack early this morning, with heavy artillery cover, on the joint forces’ positions on the Batar front, adjacent to the Al-Husha district, west of Al-Dhale’e, which led to violent clashes between the two sides.

The sources added that the joint forces repelled the attack and violent clashes took place between the two sides, extending to neighboring sites in "Qala'a and Al-Harra", and continued for more than an hour.

The sources indicated that the Houthi militia failed to achieve any field progress and was forced to retreat after a number of its members were killed or wounded.

The Houthi militia repeatedly attempts to carry out offensive operations towards the joint forces’ positions in attempts to achieve field progress, but all of these attempts have failed.
