Young man killed in tribal clashes over 'revenge' in western Shabwa

A young man was killed in armed tribal clashes over a blood feud in a town west of Shabwa Governorate (southeast Yemen).
Local sources said that the young man (Salem Saleh Salem Al-Bahji - 17 years old) was killed on Wednesday in armed tribal clashes in the "Naqaq" area in the Upper Markha Directorate.
She pointed out that the clashes broke out as a result of an old tribal feud between the Al-Bahji family, from which the deceased descended, and another tribe in the region.
The incident comes amidst a major security breakdown in the directorates of Shabwa Governorate, which are under the control of formations affiliated with the Transitional Council, with an increase in family feuds and tribal blood feuds.
